Viscometer VZ-246 AL P (submersible)
Viscometer VZ-246 AL P (submersible) is intended for quick determination of the conditional viscosity (expiration time) of paints and varnishes or related products - Newtonian or liquids approaching them in accordance with GOST 9070-75 and GOST 8420-74. The viscometer is a funnel-shaped reservoir with three replaceable nozzles. The metal tank is made of aluminum alloy grade AL9 GOST 1583-89. The nozzle(s) of the viscometer are made of an alloy 12Х18Н10Т. The principle of operation of the viscometer is based on determining the time of flow of a certain volume of the test liquid through the nozzle opening. Kinetic viscosity is determined from the graphs tables and empirical formulas depending on the expiration time. The connection between the nozzle and the reservoir must be sealed. Operating conditions: ambient temperature range from 10 to 30 °C; atmospheric pressure 0.1 MPa; relative air humidity up to 80%. The viscometer is supplied with initial verification.
