DJI Robomaster S1 EP training robot
The DJI Robomaster S1 EP educational robot is an innovative educational robot from DJI, equipped with an omnidirectional chassis, maneuverable Ilona wheels (each equipped with 12 rollers, providing omnidirectional movement and precise control), a flexible stabilizer, and high-quality image transmission in first-person view mode “FPV”. On its platform, you can assemble two robots with different purposes: “Warrior” and “Engineer”. In the “Warrior” mode, the robot is equipped with an infrared gun, with the ability to fire gel balls. And students, controlling their robot in FPV mode, can compete in driving and shooting. In the “Engineer” mode, the robot is equipped with a robotic mechanical gripper. Adjustable grip force allows it to reliably grip and move objects of varying shapes, weights and sizes. For example, students can program their robot to find, identify, and transport containers of gel beads. Supported Scratch 3.0 and Python programming languages allow students to take their programming skills to the next level, whether in primary or secondary school. Compatible with third party open source hardware such as: Microbit, Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Also, Robomaster S1 EP supports the DJI and NVIDIA Jetson Nano SDK platforms, with the help of which students can learn the principles of artificial intelligence and computer vision. Compatible with third-party sensors – Includes 4 touch adapters. This makes it possible to connect third-party sensors to the robot, which can measure input data such as temperature, pressure, distance and more. The data obtained from the sensors can be used when programming in Scratch, opening up additional endless possibilities. Learning Artificial Intelligence - The new development kit (SDK 3.0) will allow students to become real programmers by learning deeper into the fundamentals of artificial intelligence: object recognition, object following, computer vision.
