Discovery Artisan 512 Digital Microscope
The Discovery Artisan 512 is a digital microscope with an LCD screen and a 5 megapixel camera. It allows you not only to visually study samples, but also to take photographs, record videos, measure objects and process frames. Its capabilities will help you work with metals, jewelry, electronic circuit boards, small parts and mechanisms, minerals, biological samples and many other opaque objects. The device provides optical magnification in the range from 10 to 300x, and you can also use digital zoom to increase the magnification to 1200x. The image from the lens is immediately displayed on the built-in 5-inch color screen. Studying samples while looking at the screen is much more convenient than through an eyepiece, since it puts less strain on the eyesight - long-term work becomes more comfortable. Moreover, the microscope can be connected to a computer or TV to display images on an external screen. In this case, the microscope will even allow you to conduct presentations and group studies. Please note: To access digital functions (photographing, video recording and measuring objects), you must install a special program on your computer from the included disk. The microscope records on a memory card, which is not included in the package. MicroSD cards up to 32 GB can be used. The microscope allows you to work with samples even in dimly lit rooms, as it is equipped with built-in LED illumination. The LEDs are located next to the lens, i.e. research is carried out in reflected light. The microscope is equipped with a polarizing filter to protect against glare and spurious reflections when studying shiny objects. The microscope can operate either from AC power or from a built-in battery. Operating time on one charge is about 3 hours.
