Central venous catheterization simulator Zarnitza - presents an anatomical (musculoskeletal-cutaneous) model of the human upper torso and right upper limb. By selecting materials, the mechanical characteristics of the reproduced organs corresponded to natural values. A fragment of the venous bed was modeled (superficial veins of the upper limb, subclavian, internal and external jugular, right brachiocephalic veins). The conductors are filled with “artificial blood” coming from a container under a pressure of 5-10 mm Hg. Art. The pressure in the container is created manually with a rubber bulb and controlled by a pressure gauge. The model has a convenient system of landmarks (clavicle, sternocleidomastoid muscle) used in clinical practice of subclavian vein catheterization. The simulator provides for the reinstallation of a replaceable block corresponding to the area of ​​manipulation. The average number of training cycles is 50 catheterizations. The simulator is convenient in that, if necessary, catheterization of the internal jugular vein can be performed, which increases the efficiency of using the product.
