Transilluminator ET-470B for electrophoresis
Transilluminator ET-470B for electrophoresis in gels Used for observing and cutting electrophoresis gel. Blue LEDs with a wavelength of 470 nm are used as a light source. This is an excellent alternative to traditional UV transilluminators. There is no risk of ultraviolet damage to the sample, which may be important when planning to further use the gel after documentation. Blue light is useful for documenting DNA/protein sample gels that have used fluorescent dyes: SYBR Green, GelGreen, SYBR Safe, SYBR Gold or SYPRO Ruby. LED diodes are located at the bottom of the working field. This ensures good uniformity and high light intensity. The lid contains a yellow (amber) filter, which helps to see fluorescent samples. The lid is closed or fixed at an angle to the work surface. Main features: uniform distribution of blue light intensity across the entire working field of the transilluminator allows one to achieve good results in observing and photographing samples; adjustable backlight brightness; automatic power off if there is no work for 5 minutes; The lid lifts up and locks at the desired angle, making it easier to observe the sample.
