Telescope Veber PolarStar 900/114 AZ
The Veber PolarStar 900/114 EQ telescope is a model for serious but novice astronomy enthusiasts. The 114 mm diameter mirror is large enough to collect a lot of light (with this telescope you can see solar system objects in great detail - such as the Cassini gap in the ring of Saturn, 5 km lunar craters, dim stars up to 13 m magnitude). The dimensions of the device are quite impressive, the pipe length is 86 cm. A very stylish design of the telescope: a white glossy metal tube framed by brutal-looking covers, rings and mount parts, painted with textured powder enamel, as is customary for professional optical instruments. A convenient finder scope (6x magnification) is located next to the eyepiece. The device is equipped with a serious mount of the German type EQ5 with the ability to connect an electric drive (for constant monitoring of the selected object). Many other companies, in order to reduce costs, install such telescopes on the EQ1 mount, which is frankly weak for them. The entire structure: telescope-mount-tripod must be rigid enough to dampen vibrations and vibrations that interfere with observations. In this telescope, the steel tripod also has additional spacers on which a table for accessories is mounted.
