Veber NewStar MT80080 AZII telescope
Veber NewStar MT80080 AZII is a reflecting telescope with which you can admire near and far space. During planetary observations, you will be able to examine the planets and their satellites, see lunar craters with a diameter of 5 kilometers and the rings of Jupiter. As for deep sky objects, more than 100 celestial bodies from the Messier catalog will be available in the Northern Hemisphere - bright galaxies and nebulae, supernova remnants, star clusters. The optics of the device are coated with multilayer coating, which ensures clarity and good contrast of the image. The Veber NewStar MT80080 AZII telescope comes with two multifocal eyepieces. By combining them with a 3x Barlow lens, you can get different zoom ratios. Additionally, you can purchase an adjustment eyepiece - to adjust the main mirror, the design includes three thumbscrews. In addition, the optical finder is also equipped with screws for adjusting the height and azimuth relative to the telescope tube. All this allows you to maintain the accuracy of the instrument and makes observations as effective as possible. The telescope is controlled by an azimuth mount with fine movement knobs, a full rotation of which rotates the telescope just a few degrees. You can speed up the process of aiming at an object: the spring-loaded wings on the mount’s rotation axes are loosened, and the pipe is moved manually. Focusing is smooth and without backlash thanks to a rack-and-pinion focuser with two parallel adjustment wheels. The mount is installed on a reliable tripod; a bubble level is provided on the body for leveling. In the field, you can unscrew the plastic leg supports and place the tripod “on spikes” for greater stability.
