Veber 350x70 telescope
Compact refracting telescope. Convenient for both home astronomical (and other) observations and for outings into nature. Its length is only 45 cm, it is light and compact. Moreover, this telescope is not a child’s toy at all! Its achromatic optics produce good, clear, sharp images without coloration at the edges of the field of view. With a set of eyepieces included in the kit, you can get a magnification from 17.5x (close focusing point approx. 5 m) to 116.4x. The Veber 350×70 collects 35% more light than the similar Veber 350×60 telescope with a lens diameter of 60 mm. In practice, this means: for daytime observations, there will be a good picture even in the near twilight; for night observations, the picture will be sharper. Special mention should be made about the eyepiece part: it is located at an angle of 45° to the axis of the device, and can be rotated around its axis by 360° (8 fixed positions). All this makes observation very comfortable - both from a sitting and standing position. Moreover, the image is not mirrored, where “left” and “right” have swapped places, but straight! (the design uses a Schmidt prism with a “roof”). Thus, it is recommended to use this telescope not only for its intended purpose, but also as a spotting scope. What can be seen with this telescope: craters of the Moon with a diameter of about 10 km, the rings of Saturn, Mars. Its penetrating power is 10.99 magnitudes - large clusters of galaxies will also be accessible to curious observers. A special tabletop tripod is included in the kit. It has a mechanism for smooth movements vertically and horizontally - using rotating handles. Since the pipe is secured using a 1/4" screw, if necessary, you can use any photo tripod.
