Solar telescope Sky-Watcher SolarQuest
The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest telescope is designed specifically for studying solar activity. Positioning, pointing and tracking are extremely simplified - even a child can operate the telescope. To study sunspots, granulation and flare fields, you do not need any special astronomical knowledge or telescope skills. The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest is an excellent choice for a first telescope and an ideal gift for the budding astronomer. The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest is a refractor with a pre-installed solar filter. The filter protects your vision from harmful radiation during observations, allowing only safe visible light to pass through. Do not try to remove or replace it with another one - this may be unsafe. The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest Telescope is not compatible with other filter models. With the SolarQuest mount with HelioFind Solar Positioning System, aiming at the Sun requires just one press of a button. After this, the telescope will find the solar disk itself; the observer will only need to focus. For the most accurate pointing, you can use a special 8-position slide switch on the body - it will allow you to center the image in the telescope. Note that the SolarQuest mount is designed specifically to work with the supplied optical tube, but if you wish, you can install the tube of your own solar telescope (see the instructions for more details). The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest solar telescope is an excellent choice for beginners, children and outdoor enthusiasts. Its compact and lightweight design allows you to travel with it as comfortably as possible, and assembly and setup takes just a few minutes. The package includes all necessary optical accessories and a stable aluminum tripod. Please note: The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest Telescope is designed for solar observations only and cannot be used for nighttime astronomical observations. Attention! Never look at the Sun without a special filter. This can permanently damage your vision and lead to blindness.
