Telescope Sky-Watcher BK 709EQ2
The Sky-Watcher BK 709EQ2 telescope is a lightweight and high-quality instrument for studying the Moon, planets and other objects of the solar system. High-quality optics with multi-layer coating creates a clear and sharp image. The optical tube is installed on an equatorial mount, which makes it possible to compensate with high accuracy the daily movement of celestial bodies. The achromatic 70mm lens delivers high-contrast images that are virtually free of chromatic aberrations. Multilayer antireflective coating significantly increases the light transmittance of the optics. A rack focuser is used to adjust sharpness. The diameter of the focusing unit is 1.25". The kit includes 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces. The first is suitable for searching for objects and for survey observations, and the second is used for detailed study of celestial bodies. The EQ2 equatorial mount is equipped with fine movement mechanisms on both axes, so the pipe moves very smoothly, without jerking. For the most accurate tracking of astronomical objects, the mount can be supplemented with a motor drive along the right ascension axis (purchased separately). The aluminum tripod is height adjustable.
