Meade Polaris 127mm Telescope
The Meade Polaris 127mm Telescope is a Newtonian reflecting telescope with a large 127mm lens diameter that produces bright, high-contrast images of thousands of night sky objects. This long-focus reflector on an equatorial mount is recommended not only for beginners, but also for advanced astronomers. The telescope is perfect as a gift even for a child. Thanks to the Newtonian optical design, the telescope is free of chromatism, and you will see clear images, without colored halos around bright stars and the Moon. The telescope is equipped with an equatorial mount on a durable steel tripod with the ability to adjust the height of the legs, making it convenient for observations regardless of a person’s height. Micrometric screws, with the ability to install an electric motor along the clock axis, ensure smooth guidance of the telescope in both axes. To quickly search for objects, a finder with a red dot is installed on the telescope tube. The Meade Polaris 127 mm telescope is equipped with a quick-release dovetail for attaching an optical tube and a convenient shelf for accessories. The kit includes three eyepieces: 6.3 (159X) mm, 9 (111X) mm and 25 (40X) mm. The maximum magnification of the telescope is 254X, relative aperture 1:7.9, penetrating power -13 m (magnitude). This will allow you to observe through this telescope the rings of Saturn, cloud belts, the Great Red Spot of Jupiter and 4 of its satellites, the polar caps of Mars, scattering stars of the Pleiades and NGC 869 clusters (better known as h and x Perseus), as well as other astronomical objects accessible to this telescope. As a bonus, the kit includes a disk with a planetarium program that will show the position of constellations and other objects at the time of your observation. This program will help you not only learn a lot of new things, but also better navigate the starry sky. An advanced astronomer, a schoolchild, a student or a novice amateur - everyone will find useful information for themselves.
