Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 is a universal telescope for traveling and walking. The compact refractor is suitable for beginner astronomers of any age. With its help you can observe the planets of the solar system and the Moon; the telescope is also convenient for ground-based observations - it is equipped with a diagonal mirror. It transmits a direct, non-inverted image, and also bends the optical axis of the telescope and allows you to comfortably observe objects located high above the horizon. A small refractor is also suitable for observing the Sun - the kit includes a protective solar filter. Be especially careful when observing solar activity and always ensure that the solar filter is securely attached to the telescope tube. The filter must completely cover the aperture! Never look at the Sun or even the bright area of sky next to it through an optical finder. Lenses with multi-layer anti-reflective coating provide high image quality. The kit includes two eyepieces with a magnification of 45 and 18x with a mounting diameter of 1.25". A 3x Barlow lens (included) with standard eyepieces allows you to get a magnification of 135x. The maximum useful magnification of the telescope is 100x. Controlling the azimuth mount of a telescope does not require special knowledge and skills: you simply move the optical tube along the horizontal and vertical axes. Mounts of this type are also well suited for landscape observations. A convenient optical finder will help you quickly navigate the sky or find a ground object. The telescope is very easy to operate and does not require complex settings. The mount is mounted on a lightweight aluminum tripod. The height of the tripod can be adjusted from 40 to 125 cm.
