Levenhuk Skyline PRO 90 MAK Telescope

Levenhuk Skyline PRO 90 MAK telescope is a combined mirror-lens telescope built according to the Maksutov-Cassegrain design. Due to this, its large focal length (1250 mm) is “packed” inside a tube less than 25 cm long. Such dimensions of the tube make it easy to take it with you under a dark country sky. The 90mm aperture and long focal length are especially useful when observing planets at high magnifications, and the image quality will be very high. At medium magnifications, the telescope will also show many compact deep space objects - planetary nebulae and star clusters. This model can be characterized as the most compact and versatile telescope for those observers who do not have the ability to transport heavy equipment, but still want to get the most out of on-site observations. In addition, this model can be easily installed on a standard photographic tripod and equipped with a wrap-around prism, which will turn the telescope into a powerful telescope for ground-based observations. The lens surfaces of the telescope have an anti-reflective coating, which ensures maximum light transmission, and the reflective surfaces have a protective layer, which increases their service life. The very compact and lightweight aluminum tube is mounted on an equatorial mount, equipped with fine movement knobs and allowing the installation of an electric clock axis (purchased separately). This mount has special coordinate circles, with the help of which, after simple adjustments, you can find objects according to their equatorial celestial coordinates, and also accompany the daily movement of the object by rotating only one knob. The tripod is adjustable in height and has a convenient shelf for accessories, and a red dot finder will allow you to quickly point the telescope at the desired area of the sky. The telescope is supplied with 2 eyepieces having a field of view of 52 degrees and focal lengths of 10 mm and 25 mm and giving magnification of 125 and 50 times with the telescope. The eyepiece lenses are made of glass and have multi-layer coating. Focusing is performed by moving the main mirror using a comfortable, smooth-moving handle. The mounting diameter for eyepieces of the standard 1.25" (31.75 mm) allows you to use with the telescope many other eyepieces available on the market, in addition to those included in the kit. With their help, the magnification of the telescope can be raised to the useful limit of 180 times. The output sleeve has a standard T-thread, which, through an additional adapter ring, allows you to attach a SLR camera to the telescope and photograph the Moon and other bright objects. The Levenhuk Skyline PRO series was created for trained and demanding observers. It contains various models of telescopes, united by the idea of maximum useful output from the instrument, both for visual and photographic observations, as well as reliability in operation, which is achieved by using reliable materials and high-quality optical components.
