Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T Telescope is a lightweight and easy-to-assemble refractor with coated optics. It is best to observe the Moon and terrestrial landscapes, urban or natural. It is also suitable for studying the planets of the solar system, although it will not be possible to examine them in detail. Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T is an excellent choice for a child interested in space and astronomy, and an excellent first telescope for the whole family. The main thing in a telescope is ease of assembly and control. The optical tube is mounted on a classic azimuth mount, which does not require any knowledge or skills to operate. To point the telescope at an astronomical object, its tube simply needs to be rotated without additional effort, and the mount will hold it in the selected position. For precise targeting of astronomical objects, a classic optical finder with 5x magnification is used. The refractor optics are made of fully coated glass - this improves the clarity and contrast of the image. The package includes two eyepieces: 4 mm and 20 mm. By changing them, you can choose the appropriate magnification for observations - higher or lower. A diagonal mirror, also included in the package, is used for ground-based observations. Like all Levenhuk telescopes, the Skyline BASE 50T turns the image upside down, and the diagonal mirror returns it to its usual appearance. The telescope is stabilized by an aluminum tripod with adjustable-height legs. Each support can be adjusted individually, so Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T stands firmly even on uneven surfaces. An accessory tray is installed on the tripod, which is convenient for storing additional eyepieces, star charts, a compass, etc.
