Telescope GSO Dob 6", silver
The GSO Dob 6" telescope is an entry-level optical instrument for those who want to focus on visual observations of deep space. It can show hundreds of galaxies, star clusters and nebulae, and even structural details can be seen in the brightest objects. Planets can also be observed: up to Saturn they are visible quite clearly, although, for example, a detailed study of Venus will require the use of filters. The telescope can also be turned towards the Moon, and relief features will be visible on it with a diameter of 4 km. The optics are based on a spherical mirror with a diameter of 152 mm. It collects light well, allowing many faint stars to be viewed. An optical finder with achromatic optics is used for pointing. The mount is operated manually, and the Dobsonian circuit is the best option for a beginner, since control can be mastered in just a couple of minutes. It is worth noting that this modification of the mount has tension springs, which provides more reliable fixation of the pipe in the selected position. There is a small shelf for accessories on the side wall of the mount. The package already includes a 25mm Super Plössl eyepiece, which is great for observing most popular deep-sky objects. The GSO Dob 6" telescope requires assembly before use, but it is simple. Also, adjustment of the optics will be required periodically, but since there is a center marking on the main mirror, this will not cause any difficulties either.
