Levenhuk LZOS 500D Dobsonian telescope

Levenhuk LZOS 500D is a Newtonian reflector on a tabletop Dobsonian mount, created at the Lytkarino Optical Glass Factory. Its optics, built on the basis of a 130 mm primary mirror, allows you to observe in detail many deep space objects: open star clusters, nebulae, etc. Near space is clearly visible, you can see atmospheric phenomena on Jupiter, Saturn and Venus, see many irregularities in the Martian landscape, and study small craters on the Moon. The telescope can operate effectively even on very dim objects, since the optical elements are created to the highest standards of diffraction optics. LZOS optics – made in Russia JSC Lytkarino Optical Glass Plant traces its history back to 1934. Now it is the largest Russian enterprise producing optical elements for telescopes, microscopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, as well as for space equipment, astronomical observatories and other amateur and professional instruments and systems. The high quality of LZOS optics is confirmed by many implemented projects not only in Russia, but also in cooperation with other countries. Diffraction quality of optical elements Diffractive optical elements are used to control giant astronomical mirrors so that their surface shape is as close to ideal as possible. And the better the mirror is polished and the more regular its shape, the higher the resolution of the telescope - you can see more small details and examine very dim astronomical objects. And the Levenhuk LZOS 500D telescope has optical elements of exactly this level - manufactured with diffraction quality and allowing you to observe and photograph thousands of space objects with the highest detail. Easy assembly and convenient operation The Dobson mount is valued for its excellent stability, simple assembly and intuitive operation. To install an optical tube on a mount, you need to attach a dovetail plate and mounting rings to it - all this is already included in the basic package, you do not need to purchase anything additional. The telescope on the mount moves smoothly and can be moved left, right, up and down. For observations, a 10 mm eyepiece is used, the field of view of which is 52°. On this telescope it gives 100x magnification. If necessary, the telescope can be equipped with any additional accessories: for example, wide-angle eyepieces, a Barlow lens, etc. The fit into the focuser is standard - 1.25 inches; accessories of this type will be compatible with the telescope. Small dimensions - suitable for travel A Newtonian reflector is usually a very large instrument, but Levenhuk LZOS 500D has a shortened tube, which makes it an excellent option for astronomers who love to travel. It will not be difficult to take it to an out-of-town astronomical gathering or to a village - its size and weight will not be a problem.
