Discovery Sky T60 telescope with book

The Discovery Sky T60 telescope is a classic refractor on an alt-azimuth mount, making it an excellent choice for the novice user. On the one hand, optics make it possible to observe many objects of near space (the Moon is especially clearly visible); on the other hand, operating the telescope can be mastered in just a couple of minutes. Another undeniable advantage of this telescope is its balanced and comprehensive package, thanks to which you don’t have to buy anything additional. There is even an educational book about space. All objects can be observed at different magnifications: to change the magnification, you just need to change the eyepiece or additionally use a Barlow lens. For terrestrial observations, the kit includes a wraparound eyepiece and a diagonal mirror - these accessories allow the telescope to be used as a powerful spotting scope. To search for objects, an optical finder is used, which is mounted on the telescope tube. The azimuth mount is supplemented with a vertical axis microscrew - this significantly increases the accuracy and smoothness of pointing. The tripod is made of aluminum and equipped with a tray for accessories. Since the height of the tripod can be adjusted, the telescope can easily adapt to the height of different users. The tripod is stable and stands without problems even on uneven surfaces. Book of knowledge “Space. Non-Empty Emptiness" is an excellent assistant in mastering the basics of astronomy. This colorful guide in an accessible and visual form tells about the solar system (the Sun, planets and their satellites), as well as distant stars, comets and meteors. On its pages you can also find many colorful illustrations and tips on working with a telescope.
