During measurements, the tachometer records the maximum and minimum speed of rotation or movement, and also calculates the average value. To get a clear result, an LCD display is provided, which also displays a battery charge indicator. After turning off the device, the last readings are stored in memory and can be displayed on the display before performing subsequent work. Mechanical measurements can be made by simply attaching a probe tip adapter or rotating disk for contact speed measurement. One battery charge lasts up to 40 hours of battery life. To prevent the device from discharging during operation, an auto-shut-off function is provided, which is activated when idle. The Testo meter is supplied in an elastic SoftCase, which protects the case from shocks and falls.
