Scanserver Fujitsu fi-5000N

Thanks to the fi -5000N scanserver, several employees will be able to use the fi -5120C, fi -5220C and fi -5530C document scanners more efficiently and versatility. Instead of connecting to your computer via a USB or SCSI cable, you connect it to your local network via the fi-5000N adapter, which in turn connects to the network via an Ethernet port. The fi-5000N scanserver guarantees everyone who has received access rights the ability to work with any scanner on the local network. Access to the scanner is carried out after fingerprint identification, which ensures simple and reliable scanning and prevents unauthorized access. In this case, two scenarios for working with scanners can be distinguished. Each user has his own individual profile (optical resolution, target format, directory, etc.), which is activated when identifying a fingerprint. The operator then places the document in the scanner feeder and starts the scanning process by pressing a button. Via fi-5000N, the scanned document is saved on a network resource. The use of the fi-5000N scanserver significantly increases the flexibility of use of scanners, the versatility of their application and ensures more efficient use of investments made in professional document scanners.
