WideTEK® 48 wide-format CCD scanners digitize documents up to 48 inches (1118 mm) wide quietly and surprisingly quickly. These CCD devices are ideal for large format scanning in offices or manufacturing environments where large volumes are required. WideTEK 48 scans gently thanks to special transport rollers that act as pressure points to ensure safe feeding. This is extremely important for archival and old documents. The new unique pressure drum never comes into contact with the glass, thereby eliminating the possibility of scratches and jams on the document. To obtain high-contrast images from blueprints or translucent media, the standard black drum can be easily replaced with a white drum without special tools. The use of bright white LED lamps guarantees a long service life and low cost of use, since the scanner has virtually no consumables. The dustproof, fully sealed box contains a CCD system that uses patented technology that provides scanning resolution up to 1200 dpi.
