Rotary evaporator IR-1M3 The rotary evaporator is designed for carrying out physical and physico-chemical processes associated with the rapid removal of solvents from solutions or suspensions of organic and inorganic compounds by film evaporation at normal and reduced pressure and controlled temperature. Possible: distillation of thermally unstable substances under mild temperature conditions; distillation of a mixture of high-boiling substances that cannot be separated by conventional still distillation; degassing of liquids; evaporation of liquids; distillation of easily foaming substances. The evaporator uses the principle of processing raw materials in thin films of flowing liquids. A film of liquid forms on the inner surface of the rotating evaporation flask, increasing the evaporation area and intensifying the process of vaporization. Rotation simultaneously eliminates foaming of the evaporated liquid. It is used in laboratories of educational and research institutes, experimental laboratories and clinics.
