Areas of expertise and application The robotic complex is designed to introduce technical (machine) vision technology and will allow you to study the basic principles and methods of recognizing objects from a stream of video data. The robotic complex is used, among other things, for project activities, as well as in the preparation and holding of robotics competitions. What will the child learn? The robotic complex will introduce the student to the basic concepts of the C language (data types, variables, conditions, loops, working with numbers, arrays, strings, pointers, links, structures, user-defined functions and modules) and teach how to apply this knowledge to control real objects. In addition, the set will introduce the basic principles of operation of electronic devices (digital and analog signals, PWM modulation, digital communication protocols), electronic devices (LED, button, analog and digital sensor, servomotor, DC motor, display devices) and algorithms (digital signal processing methods and controllers) used in robotics and feedback systems. Working method It is a construction kit that provides learning the basics of robotics, in particular, electronics, mechatronics, programming and algorithmization. Working with a robotic complex combines the tasks of mechanical assembly of housing elements and electrical circuits, programming, as well as studying the interaction between different devices through wired and wireless data transfer protocols. The robotic complex allows you to assemble device models using structural elements and electronic components, as well as program their behavior depending on external factors and the internal state of the model Methodological support Methodological support contains principles, basic operating algorithms and examples of models demonstrating the use of 6 directions of recognition of a robotic complex, and also contains the basic fundamentals of programming with a description of the software environment for writing code. Software Software includes: working libraries for the Arduino-compatible platform; demonstration videos of work; example programs; examples of C language code for working with different types of actuators, sensors and data visualization tools included in the complex. Examples of the use of types and data structures in C program code will familiarize the student with the basic principles of constructing program logic, and the approaches used will familiarize the student with the principles of programming end devices based on microcontrollers.
