Areas of expertise and application Designed to teach middle-aged and older children how to write programs in a block programming environment (Scratch). What will the child learn? The set develops skills in composing and optimizing complex algorithms, reducing the size of programs through the use of built-in procedures, branching, loops and other professional programming techniques. Working method At each lesson, a unique robot is assembled, and in an additional task there are one or two more modifications of it. The kit uses a Studuino open architecture board, sensors (touch sensor, infrared sensor, sound sensor, light sensor) and actuators (geared motors, servomotors, buzzer, LEDs). All elements are made in the same design style. The entire set is equipped with a plastic storage system with a tray, which is closed with a transparent plastic lid with latches. Methodological support (within the framework of Order 804, it is supplied as a separate item as part of the “Educational module for in-depth study of robotics and preparation for competitions”). The set is completed with teaching aids for 25 lessons of 90 minutes, including an introductory lesson and 8 thematic sections with an increasing level of complexity in terms of the program algorithm and the number of operators used. Step-by-step instructions for creating original robots, including a catapult for launching airplanes, a robot that imitates a person's gait, transformers, a robot football player and many others. The methodological manual contains a detailed graphic and text description of the components of the set, features of their operation, configuration methods and programming techniques. Also, for understanding, practical examples of programming sensors and actuators to solve applied problems are demonstrated. Software The software includes an integrated environment for block programming based on the Scratch language, the necessary drivers, examples of program codes from the accompanying manuals, and video fragments of key programs demonstrating the operation of the models. The integrated development environment operates on devices running operating systems of the Windows and MacOS family. Important: The product is included in the register of industrial products produced on the territory of the Russian Federation 2188\6\2022.
