X-ray fluorescence analyzer MetExpert

X-ray fluorescence analyzer MetExpert designed for measuring the mass fraction of up to 80 chemical elements in metals and alloys, including aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, structural, special and products based on them. The device is also used to identify chemical elements from sodium (Z=11) to americium (Z=95) in substances in solid, powder and liquid states. The analyzer is used for customs control, assay supervision, in analytical laboratories of industrial enterprises and research institutions. In addition, the equipment is intended for use in customs clearance and customs control of waste transported across the customs border of the Russian Federation, concerning the transboundary movement of waste (including hazardous waste). The analyzer is designed as a monoblock and is designed for work in field and workshop conditions, as well as stationary in the laboratory. The analyzer is an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer based on the principle of measuring the spectrum of secondary X-ray radiation. The primary X-rays produced by the X-ray tube irradiate the sample being analyzed and produce secondary X-rays, the spectrum of which depends on the elemental composition of the sample. An X-ray tube is used as an excitation source. Calculation of the mass fraction of the analyzed elements is based on the dependence of the radiation intensity on its mass fraction in the sample. The calculation uses a standard-free version of the fundamental parameters method. The analyzer has specialized software that allows you to control the X-ray emitter and spectrometer, accumulate and save information, calibrate the device, create libraries of reference alloys, calculate measurement results and display them on a computer monitor.
