In its meaning, the game "Shuffleboard Sport" is a little reminiscent of the more famous curling in our country, but does not require special conditions in the form of an ice rink, and the level of physical fitness and age do not matter. Much more important is the ability to concentrate on the process and a developed eye. You can play together or in two teams of two players. We present to you a universal playing field on which you can play both classic Shuffleboard and Canadian. The rules of the classic game are quite simple: The game of shuffleboard lasts several rounds until one of the players scores 21 points. Using a coin or any other method, players determine who starts and choose which color bats to play with. In classic Shuffleboard, the scoring scale is 1-2-3, players stand opposite this marking and alternately launch their bats. The players' task is to get into the sector with the most points by placing their bat so that it is on the board further than the opponent's bat. In this case, it is important that the puck crosses the marked penalty line and does not fly out of bounds into touch. Players are allowed to knock down their opponents' bats, moreover, this gives them the opportunity to score extra points. When all the bats are in play, the winner of the round is determined and the points are counted. The player whose bat is furthest on the board wins, and only his bats score points (bats on the foul line between zones count at the lowest value). The winner starts the next round, thereby giving the loser a head start - the advantage of the last move. The game of Canadian Shuffleboard has a more complex scoring zone, where you can earn one bat from 1 to 10 points. The game takes place, as in the classic version, in turns in several rounds until a score of at least 51 points is obtained. The only difference is in the counting of points: they are counted to both players (teams), and the bits that stop on the border between zones are counted according to the highest value.
