Software and methodological complex Moby “Baby”

MOBI “Baby” can be effectively used in developmental classes in primary and secondary preschool age. When in motion, preschool children perceive and remember educational material better; this is taken into account in the games of the complex. Developmental and correctional complex with biocontrol based on technology for tracking body movements and gestures on a standard computer using a video camera. The complex is designed to improve the quality of movement, coordination of movements, train the attention function and develop cognitive skills, effective for working with children from 3 to 8 years old. MOBI complexes include special computer games, which are controlled by movements made by the player. A video camera is fixed in the monitor area, which captures the image of the child and his hands with special colored balls. Thus, the program “knows” at every moment where the left and right hands are, registers their movements and provides the ability to control a computer game. The plots of the games themselves encourage the child to repeatedly make directed and controlled movements with a gradual increase in the range, speed and accuracy of movements. Emotional involvement during the game makes the process of learning and development interesting and attractive.
