Areas of expertise and application The programmable controller is designed for learning the basics of robot design and programming both in the Scratch environment and in the SI and G languages. Recommended for use in computer science lessons, as well as in additional education classes and electives. What will the child learn? At the start of training, the simplest graphic languages G and Scratch will allow the student to master the basics of block programming. In the final phase, with a wealth of acquired knowledge, the student smoothly moves from block programming to text-based writing of program code in the C language, which allows him to improve and modify previously created programs. Working method The programmable controller within the educational module for in-depth study of mechanics, mechatronics and automated control systems is presented as a variant widely used in educational robotics, which allows you not only to control the robot, but also to program it yourself. Methodological support (within the framework of Order 804, it is supplied as a separate item as part of the “Educational module for in-depth study of mechanics, mechatronics, automated control systems and preparation for participation in competitions”). Educational and methodological materials consist of manuals for learning the basics of programming in three languages. At the start of training, the simplest graphic languages ​​G and Scratch allow the student to master the basics of block programming. In the process, you will become familiar with the software environment for creating and writing programs, then the basic syntactic structures of the language will be considered, and topics of working with variables, conditional statements and loop operators will be covered. The manual describes the mechanism for loading a program into the controller for subsequent control of external actuators. A series of exercises allows you to practice programming simple robots. The manual also describes the topics of common problems faced by novice programmers, and possible ways to solve them.
