USB Security This series of monitors allows you to protect your USB drive and your content by hiding the connected drive behind a special cover on the back of the monitor. Display control Digital Signage Display SoC allows users to control displays on a local network using commands over RS232. Along with a full set of RS232 commands, you can change/set the volume, turn the monitor on/off, set a schedule for displaying content, set a link to the web page that will be displayed, and can use a large number of commands to control the display in real time. Open platform support Vestel SoC supports API (Application Programming Interface) for solution providers/integrators allowing the development and integration of any HTML5-based materials for display and use on displays. Display chain The display can mirror content (to another display) via a pass-through display port. This setting allows you to use monitors in video wall mode. Pixel shift Pixel shift, which is enabled through the SoC, prevents the potential risk of image sticking caused by non-dynamic content. When this feature is enabled, the pixels on the screen will move at regular intervals without disturbing the visual experience. Scheduler The built-in scheduler is one of the many important built-in features. The scheduler allows you to schedule daily patterns for turning the display on or off, as well as selecting different sources or playlists from USB. Failover Scenario The SoC software has protection against the “No Signal” scenario. If USB is disabled after your content is set to display from USB, the display will show either your configured banner or any other input source selected (HDMI, Display Port, etc.). This crash protection is designed for a better user experience.
