The ambient light sensor detects changes in environmental conditions and automatically adjusts the screen backlight brightness to compensate and increase or decrease the light. Black spots on the screen appear on the monitor if it is installed in places where the screen is exposed to direct sunlight. Sunlight overheats the LEDs and eventually they burn out and turn black. Thanks to the IPS M+ matrix, the monitor can withstand elevated temperatures of up to 110 degrees Celsius and prevents the appearance of black spots on the screen.
