Barco's OverView OVD5521 is a high-performance, high-brightness (700 cd/m² rated) 55-inch LCD panel designed for video wall applications. With an extremely narrow bezel of just 3.5mm (0.14"), excellent color and contrast performance, and a wide viewing angle, the OverView OVD5521 takes LCD video wall image quality in high-end control rooms to the next level. Providing very high brightness levels, the OverView OVD5521 produces highly visible images regardless of room lighting conditions. Best-in-class sensor-controlled thermal management uses virtually silent fans to ensure optimal cooling at all times, extending backlight life. Additional innovations and low power consumption of this panel help improve image quality at a minimal total cost of ownership. All the different screens used as part of an LCD video wall must be perfectly balanced in color and brightness, so they need to be calibrated regularly. Barco is the first and only manufacturer to introduce its own automatic color and brightness calibration system, SenseX, which allows you to calibrate an entire video wall in minutes without the use of external sensors or user intervention. An external power supply can be installed upon request. This will significantly reduce maintenance costs since expensive technician services are not required. Anyone who can hold a screwdriver can perform maintenance and replacement of equipment. Unlike competing models, cable length does not affect performance, so the external power supply can be installed up to 100 meters from the video wall without any loss of image quality or brightness.
