Ceiling speaker system BIAMP CM6T Apart
APart CM6T is a two-way ceiling speaker with a 6.5" woofer. The woofer cone is made of polypropylene, which allows the APart CM6T to be used in damp rooms and provides a very low level of distortion. To expand the reproduced frequencies, the APart CM6T has a built-in tweeter with a 1" silk dome cone. APart CM6T is ideal for both music and speech playback. The speaker frame is made of high quality ABS plastic. APart CM6T can connect to both 100V and low impedance audio amplifiers. The design of the loudspeaker allows you to quickly and effortlessly install it in a suspended ceiling. Remove the speaker grille, underneath you will find 3 screws. By rotating these screws, the speaker is clamped from the rear to the ceiling panel. Connect the cable to the speaker terminal, insert the speaker into the pre-made hole in the ceiling and tighten the 3 mounting screws. When connected to a 100-volt line, you can use one of three volume levels (6 - 3 - 1.5 W). In 100-volt mode, all speakers are connected in parallel, and the number of speakers is limited only by the 100-volt amplifier and speaker power: the total power of all speakers must not exceed the power of the amplifier. When using APart CM6T as a low-impedance loudspeaker, you need to connect it bypassing the transformer, directly to the speaker. All necessary terminal blocks are secured to the speaker housing. The speaker impedance with this connection will be 16 Ohms, this allows you to connect in parallel up to 4 speakers per channel to an amplifier with a minimum possible load of 4 Ohms and 2 - 3 speakers per channel to an amplifier with a minimum possible load of 6 Ohms.
