APart (Biamp) CM30DTD is a built-in transformer speaker from the CM Design series, designed for ceiling mounting. The model is equipped with an IP50 dust protection system, due to which it can be installed in a variety of conditions. The device is ideal for playing music in shops, cafes and restaurants, and can also be successfully used for public address systems in educational and medical institutions. A 4.25-inch woofer with a polypropylene dome and a 1-inch tweeter are responsible for sounding the audio signal. These speakers are capable of playing a frequency range from 75 to 20 kHz, which is quite enough to correctly reproduce music and voices. There is also a bass reflex hole, due to which the lower frequency limit is increased and a more intelligible and clear sound is achieved. With a low-impedance connection to an amplifier (16 Ohms), a maximum output power of 80 W is provided, and the presence of a built-in transformer allows switching with broadcast networks of 70 and 100 Volts. In the first case, power will be available at 30, 15, 7.5, 3.75 and 1.75 W, and in the second - 30, 15, 7.5 and 3.75 W. To change these parameters there is a switch located on the front panel under the protective grid. The maximum sound pressure level can reach 108 dB, and the sound coverage area covers 180 degrees vertically and horizontally. This makes it possible to effectively use acoustics in rooms about three meters high. The body is made of durable ABS plastic with a proprietary metal grill, which is secured with magnets. The grill can be repainted in any color to match the interior in which the acoustics are located. To connect an audio source, an input is provided on a standard 4-pin Euroblock connector. The model is built into the ceiling by cutting into a mounting hole with a diameter of 193 mm.
