Portable turbidimeter HANNA HI 98703-02

Portable turbidimeter HANNA HI 98703-02 The HI 98703-02 is a highly accurate (+0.02 nephelometric turbidity unit, NTU) handheld turbidity meter. The instrument is supplied with a set of AMCO-AEPA-1 primary turbidity standards used for calibration and performance testing. The turbidity specifications of HI 98703-02 meet or exceed EPA Method 180.1 and Standard Method 2130 B for Water and Wastewater Testing. The HI 98703 High Accuracy Handheld Turbidity Meter is designed specifically for water quality measurement, providing reliable and accurate readings, especially in the low turbidity range. The instrument features a state-of-the-art optical system that guarantees accurate results, ensures long-term stability, and minimizes the effects of stray light and color interference. Periodic calibration using the supplied standards compensates for any variations in tungsten lamp intensity. The 25mm round cuvettes made from special optical glass ensure reproducibility of turbidity measurements. Provides laboratory accuracy of measurements and in field conditions. Equipped with a modern optical system and a tungsten light source, which provide reliable and error-free turbidity measurements. Photodiode radiation source Unlike other turbidimeters, the radiation source in this model is an infrared photodiode, which has a long service life and provides constant radiation intensity throughout the entire period. TIS (Tag Identification System) A new system that allows the user to save the time and coordinates of the measurement taken. All fault messages are reflected as error codes on the display. The display also shows the battery charge level, and if the battery charge level is low, a message about this appears on the display. The backlit display makes it easy to see the time and measured data. The turbidity meter automatically saves the last calibration data. Multiple operating modes The following operating modes are available in the device: normal measurements, continuous measurements or measurements with signal averaging. EPA compliant measurements The HI 98703-02 turbidity measurement specifications meet or exceed the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act (EPA) and standard turbidity measurement methods. When the instrument is in EPA mode, all measured turbidity readings are rounded to comply with reporting requirements. Calibration Calibration can be performed at two, three or four points using the included turbidity standards (<0.1, 15, 100 and 750 NTU). Calibration point values can be changed if the user makes his own standards. AMCO AEPA-1 primary turbidity standard The accompanying AMCO AEPA-1 standards are recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) as the primary standard. These non-toxic standards contain spherical polymer particles of uniform size and density made from a copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene. These standards are reusable and stable with a long shelf life. Fast Tracker™ For advanced applications, the HI 98703-02 is equipped with a Fast Tracker™ – Tag Identification System (T.I.S.), making data collection and management easier than ever. For quick and easy operation, the Fast Tracker™ system allows users to record the location of sampling points and the time of individual or series of measurements on iButton® tags. Each iButton® tag contains a computer chip enclosed in a stainless steel housing with a unique identification code. GLP data The HI 98703-02 has full GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) functionality which ensures traceability of calibration conditions. The data contains calibration points, date and time. Data logging Up to 200 measurements can be stored in the device's memory and recalled from it at any time. Backlit display The backlit LCD display contains an easy to understand, user-friendly interface. Displayed instructions guide users through the necessary steps when performing measurements and calibrations. Manba: https://www.nv-lab.ru/catalog_info.php?ID=2710
