Flame photometer PFA-378
Flame photometer PFA-378 designed to measure the concentration of alkali and alkaline earth metal ions in solutions by measuring the intensity of their emission lines when spraying the analyzed solution in the flame of a gas burner and is used in medicine, energy, agriculture, water supply plants, chemical, glass, metallurgical and other industries. The flame photometer is based on the method of photometry of the emission of chemical elements in a flame. A solution containing the element under study is injected in the form of an aerosol into the flame of a gas burner. The emission radiation of the elements is decomposed into a spectrum by an optical system using a diffraction grating. Spectral radiation is recorded by a receiver on a photodiode array. The microprocessor system of the photometer measures the intensity of the emission lines of the elements and displays the measurement results on the indicator in units of concentration of the solution under study. Propane-butane is used as a flammable gas in a flame photometer. According to operating conditions in terms of the influence of environmental climatic factors, the analyzer belongs to the UHL version of category 4.2 according to GOST 15150-69.
