APart SUBLIME-BL is a compact passive stereo subwoofer with built-in high- and low-pass filters. Despite its compact size, APart SUBLIME-BL is capable of reproducing deep and rich bass. APart SUBLIME-BL is ideal for use with APart MASK2 loudspeakers as satellites. If necessary, you can connect APart SUBLIME-BL in an active configuration, using an active filter and a separate power amplifier. The subwoofer cabinet is only 12 cm deep. When mounted on a wall using the supplied brackets, APart SUBLIME-BL can look like a small heating radiator. Thanks to its small size, the subwoofer is easily integrated in the most difficult environments. APart SUBLIME-BL can be placed on the floor, attached to a bar counter, hidden behind curtains, etc. It is recommended to mount the subwoofer to the wall using the brackets supplied with APart SUBLIME-BL. The brackets consist of 6 curved plates: 3 plates are attached to the subwoofer, 3 to the wall. When attaching the brackets, use the templates (supplied): one template for positioning the brackets on the wall, the second for the subwoofer. Connect the cable to the terminals. Fix the subwoofer to the wall. It is believed that low frequencies are not localized and therefore the placement of the subwoofer in the listening room is not critical. However, keep in mind that the effectiveness of a subwoofer is directly dependent on its placement. Placement in the corner of the room will increase the level of low frequencies reproduced by the subwoofer, and vice versa, when placing the subwoofer in the center of the wall or in the center of the room, the level of low frequencies will decrease. When installing, do not block the two holes at the end of the subwoofer. Try to position the subwoofer in such a way that there is at least 10 cm of free space behind these holes. APart SUBLIME-BL does not have a magnetic shield, so the subwoofer should not be placed near TVs or monitors with cathode ray tubes. Modern plasma, LCD, TFT or LED screens are insensitive to magnetic fields, so you can install APart SUBLIME-BL next to such devices without restrictions.
