APart SUB2400-W is a passive subwoofer with two 10" low-frequency speakers. The body is made of MDF. APart SUB2400-W will complement your audio system with deep and rich bass. The subwoofer is made in a bandpass acoustic design: it has two chambers, each of which houses a 10" low-frequency speaker with a double voice coil. This design provides low distortion and high efficiency in a relatively small package. Using two 10" drivers provides faster, more punchy bass than subwoofers built with 15" or 18" woofers. APart SUB2400-W is recommended for use in conjunction with MASK6 or MASK8 (MASK8F) loudspeakers and a three-channel CHAMP-3D power amplifier. A switch on the rear panel of the subwoofer allows you to select an impedance of 4 ohms (upper switch position) or 16 ohms (lower switch position). If the Amplifier - Subwoofer line is long, it is recommended to use the 16 Ohm mode. This mode provides less power loss and more articulate bass. In addition, the 16 Ohm mode allows you to connect several APart SUB2400-Ws in parallel. On the rear panel of APart SUB2400-W there are two 4-pin SPEAKON connectors. You can use one of them (any) to connect to an amplifier, the second - to parallel connect another APart SUB2400-W subwoofer. Contacts -1/+1 and -2/+2 in this connector are connected in parallel, this allows you to connect the subwoofer with a 4-core cable, which will significantly reduce line losses. APart SUB2400-W is equipped with a reliable overheat protection system. If too much power is supplied, the subwoofer will automatically turn off. Reduce the power supplied to the subwoofer and, after a few seconds, APart SUB2400-W will automatically turn on again.
