Out of production The OI-19 illuminator is an accessory of biological microscopes of the Biolam (Mikmed) series and, together with the microscope condenser, is intended for studying transparent objects in transmitted light. Technical description: The optical design of the illuminator consists of an incandescent lamp and a two-lens collector, an iris diaphragm and a replaceable filter. The main parts of the illuminator are a flashlight, a tripod and a power supply with a dimmer. The flashlight can be moved up and down along the column of the tripod, rotated around a vertical axis and fixed its position with a clamping device. The design of the OI-19 illuminator is housed in a silumin housing and is external to the microscope. The design of the illuminator allows you to adjust the brightness of the illumination using a knob on the power supply, as well as change the diameter of the field diaphragm using a special handle.
