Optical stereoscopic microscope MAGUS Stereo A8

MAGUS Stereo A8 is a research-grade stereo microscope designed according to the Abbe system. With its help, you can effectively study volumetric samples of different origins: the microscope not only has a large working distance, but also allows you to view the object in a combination of three dimensions. This model allows you to work with both transparent and opaque objects thanks to the built-in transmitted and reflected light illuminators. Microscopes built according to the Abbe optical scheme are distinguished by adequate and realistic transmission of the image of an object without distortion, a wide field of view, accurate color display and high resolution. The microscope can be supplemented with accessories, including a digital camera. The device will be useful in medical, biological, archaeological professional research, forensic examinations, for studying the properties of materials and work in the field of microelectronics. The microscope is equipped with a visual attachment with two tubes. They are installed with an inclination of 20° to the horizontal plane: this position is the most comfortable for work. The microscope does not have a diopter adjustment mechanism; if you need to adjust the sharpness of the image for nearsightedness or farsightedness, choose eyepieces with such a mechanism. You can install a digital camera in the microscope: it is mounted in an intermediate attachment with a photo output using a C-mount adapter. Two optical channels have a lens system that can magnify the image of an object. Along with magnification, these zoom lenses simultaneously change the focal length: the subject always remains in focus. The zoom ratio in the MAGUS Stereo A8 model is 8:1. The optical channels are combined in the main lens. Stereoscopic angle – 11°. The lens is positioned directly above the object, at right angles to its plane. Thanks to this position, the image does not have even minimal geometric distortions, as happens in stereo microscopes according to the Greenough system. The MAGUS Stereo A8 model has a plan achromatic main lens with a large field of view and correction of spherical and chromatic distortions. Its magnification is 1x, working distance is 78 mm. For working with transparent and opaque samples, the table is equipped with two inserts. Transparent glass is needed to work in transmitted light. It helps to evenly illuminate the object with soft, diffused light. A double-sided black and white insert is used to work in reflected light and is installed according to the principle of contrast in relation to the sample. Focus adjustment is done using the coarse focus knobs on both sides of the tripod. The user can adjust the ride stiffness at his own discretion. The microscope has 2 LED illuminators. The transmitted light illuminator has a power of 6 W, the reflected light illuminator operates on the principle of oblique lighting and has a power of 3 W. LEDs are rated to last 50,000 hours. The microscope can be equipped with additional or replacement accessories to expand functionality. The line of eyepieces will provide a large magnification range. You can select the appropriate magnification, as well as the working distance and field of view when installing the optional main lens. And to measure objects, calibration slides for stereo microscopes are used with a step of 0.1 mm.
