Optical stereoscopic microscope MAGUS Stereo 8B
MAGUS Stereo 8B is a stereomicroscope according to the Greenough system with two independent optical channels. The stereoscopic angle of the device is 15° and allows you to evaluate the object of study in volume. When working with a microscope, the object is displayed in the same position in which it is on the stage, so it is convenient to work on it. The microscope has a working area from 105 mm (basic configuration) to 177 mm (with optional accessories). MAGUS Stereo 8B will be useful to everyone who works with small parts: it can be used to carry out restoration, work with jewelry, solder, evaluate the quality of materials and perform other similar work. MAGUS Stereo 8B is a binocular model equipped with a pair of 10x/22 mm eyepieces. The eyepieces are adjustable for sharpness for less-than-ideal vision, and the exit pupil has a long relief for those who wear glasses. The nozzle rotates 360° and is fixed in any position within this range. When a microscope is equipped with a camera, it is mounted in a tube instead of an eyepiece. The microscope is equipped with a zoom lens. Such a lens gradually “brings closer” the object without letting it out of focus - for this, the focal length of the system changes along with the magnification. The zoom ratio in this model is 8.4:1. Additional magnification can be obtained using lens attachments; they also adjust the size of the field of view or the height of the working distance. Focusing is coarse and fine, the handles for it are on the microscope stand and are located coaxially. At magnifications greater than 40x, it is recommended to adjust the sharpness using the fine focusing mechanism. With the coarse focusing mechanism, the user can adjust the rigidity of the move to suit his preferences. Two light sources – transmitted and reflected oblique light illuminators – operate on LEDs. Their power is 3 W, and the operating time is designed for 50,000 hours. The selected observation method - transmitted or reflected light - affects the choice of insert for the stage. The microscope comes with 2 inserts: transparent and black and white. Transparent is installed when working with transparent and translucent objects; it creates even illumination with diffused light. Black and white is placed on the table according to the principle of opposite to the color of the object. The microscope can be used using the dark field or simple polarization method - to do this, you need to install a dark field condenser or a simple polarization device into the device (they must be ordered separately). Also additionally ordered are eyepieces or lens attachments of different magnifications, a calibration slide for measuring an object or its elements, and a digital camera. A classic ring light, a sector ring light or a gooseneck light will help subtly illuminate the field of view. A circular illuminator with a polarizer is designed to illuminate smooth metal surfaces (will help avoid glare). Jewelry tweezers paired with a dark field condenser will be useful for jewelry work and processing of precious and semi-precious stones. Different tripods will help you find the optimal position for installing the optical head.
