Optical stereoscopic microscope MAGUS Stereo 7T
The MAGUS Stereo 7T stereomicroscope is designed according to the Greenough system. These stereomicroscopes, at a relatively low cost, are highly effective: their stereoscopic angle is 15°, and a contrasting and sharp three-dimensional image is formed. The image of an object is transmitted through two independent optical channels - similar to how a person perceives an object with his eyes. The basic microscope kit works with transparent and opaque samples in transmitted and reflected light. When equipped, it is possible to conduct research in a dark field or in polarized light. The peculiarity of a stereomicroscope is that the image of the object is transmitted directly - this makes manipulation of the object more convenient and familiar. The large working distance of a stereomicroscope allows you to work with an object directly under the lens: soldering or cleaning, assessing its properties and features of its topography, mounting small parts or carrying out restoration. The MAGUS Stereo 7T model has a trinocular visual attachment with a separate channel for installing a camera. The camera is secured using a C-mount adapter. You can select an adapter with additional magnification and thus adjust the visual output of the camera in terms of magnification or field of view. The visual attachment rotates and its position can be adjusted to suit the user's needs. The microscope is equipped with a pair of basic 10x/22 mm eyepieces. They are equipped with a diopter correction system and a remote pupil for working with glasses. With a zoom lens, the magnification changes simultaneously with the focal length - thanks to this system, the subject always remains in focus and the image remains sharp. The zoom ratio is 6.7:1. You can add magnification, expand the field of view or change the working distance using additional attachments. Focus is adjusted using a coarse focusing system. Its handles are located on both sides of the microscope, and the rigidity of the stroke can be adjusted. Since the microscope works with both transparent and opaque objects, it is equipped with transparent and opaque inserts in the stage. The glass insert diffuses light, thanks to which the object is softly and evenly illuminated. The opaque insert has black and white sides and is installed depending on the color of the object - black side for light and white for dark. Two illuminators - transmitted and reflected light - operate on LEDs. Their power is 3 W, and the operating life is designed for 50,000 hours. The reflected light illuminator produces oblique illumination. A large number of optional components that can be added to the microscope kit will expand the capabilities of the device. A greater magnification range can be achieved with a variety of eyepieces and attachments. To demonstrate the research on the screen in real time or in recording, a digital camera is connected to the microscope. Installing it on a C-mount adapter with its own magnification will add magnification or expand the field of view (the adapter should be selected depending on the size of the sensor). A calibration slide is used to estimate the size of an object. Jewelry tweezers, together with a dark field condenser, are used when manipulating jewelry and precious stones. For research in polarized light, you will need a polarization device. Illuminators – different types of ring illuminators or “gooseneck” illuminators – allow you to adjust lighting and shadows as needed for studying a specific sample. Tripods of various designs will help you install the optical head the way the user needs.
