Model MAGUS Stereo 7B is a stereomicroscope according to the Greenough scheme. It is used for research and work with three-dimensional objects, produces a 3D image of high clarity and contrast (stereoscopic angle 15), magnifies 6.7–45 times and is suitable for various manipulations with small parts: for connecting them, soldering them, checking their suitability, and so on. The microscope has illuminators for transmitted and reflected light - it can be used to study both transparent and light-opaque objects. The binocular visual attachment rotates around its axis and can be installed in any position. A digital camera (if available) is mounted in one of the tubes. The microscope is equipped with a pair of 10x/22 mm eyepieces, they have a diopter adjustment mechanism, and the exit pupil is at a sufficient distance for working with glasses. The zoom ratio in this model is 6.7:1. The magnification increases smoothly, while the focal length is adjusted, so the image always remains sharp. The stereo microscope forms a direct image, making it convenient to work on the object: the image in the eyepieces completely coincides with the real location of the object. If it is necessary to add magnification, increase the field of view or change the working distance, lens attachments are used (not included in the basic package). With the MAGUS Stereo 7B microscope, only coarse focusing is possible. This is done using either of the two handles on the sides of the tripod. The ride hardness can be adjusted. The object table is supplemented with two inserts. A transparent insert is needed when working in transmitted light. It scatters a beam of light, the illumination is soft and uniform, and the object is equally illuminated throughout the entire field. The black and white plate is used when working with opaque objects and is inserted into the base according to the principle of contrast: the black side for a light object and vice versa. The lighting operates on LEDs; both illuminators - transmitted and reflected light - have a power of 3 Watts and are designed for 50 thousand hours of operation. Opaque objects are illuminated with oblique light. To expand the functionality of the device, use optional components. You can add magnification to the microscope, change the field of view or the working distance using eyepieces and attachments of different magnifications. You can record the research or demonstrate it on a large screen using a digital camera. It is also useful for calculating the size of an object - in this case, the camera is used together with a calibration slide. To make optional examination methods available, add a dark-field condenser or polarization device to your microscope kit. To more effectively study and work on an object, use various illuminators: classic ring illuminators, ring illuminators with a polarizer or with sector switching, or flexible gooseneck illuminators. Tripods of different designs will help you position the optical head in a way that is most convenient for you.
