Mini-microscope MIKMED DUO 7x18 is a pocket microscope-monocular, consisting of two parts - a portable monocular with 7x magnification and a microscopic magnifier attachment, the attachment of which to the monocular lens gives approximately 25x total magnification. The combined use of a monocular and a microscope attachment makes its applications limitless: examine the cellular structure of plants, layers of paint in paintings, inscriptions on microcircuits. The miniature dimensions of the microscope, even when assembled - 12x6x6 cm and a weight of about 100 g - will allow you to take the device with you anywhere: to a work meeting, a flea market, a walk. The microscope attachment has its own focusing ring, so you can use it separately from the monocular, adjusting the sharpness to suit your vision. 4x magnification will allow you to use the attachment when working with jewelry, repairing watches, or appraising antiques. The attachment will help you detect scratches on your car, read small text, and come in handy in many other cases. The nozzle can be moved directly over the surface under study - the polished and rounded end will not damage the object of study. The size of the plastic transparent skirt of the nozzle is 59x40x46 mm. Side cutouts in the skirt are made for ease of working with tools such as tweezers, long needles, etc. The ergonomic monocular body is made of ABS plastic with a corrugated rubber pad on the focusing ring. The eye relief monocular has been designed for the convenience of glasses wearers - the rubber eyecup wraps up to allow observation without removing the glasses. The portable monocular can be used as a compact high-definition spotting scope with sevenfold magnification, including for covert observation. Light source: four LEDs built into the base of the microscope body. Thanks to LED sources, the microscope is easy to use even on a cloudy day and in low light conditions. The LED sources are turned on by a button and are powered by two supplied LR44 coin-cell batteries. The batteries are installed in the sequence “-/+,-/+”. The soft two-section bag included in the kit protects the microscope during transport and storage.
