Optical microscope MAGUS Metal V700 DIC

Inverted metallographic microscope MAGUS Metal V700 DIC Magnification: 50-500x. Trinocular visual head, planachromatic objectives, 50 W halogen reflected light illuminator The microscope is designed to study the microstructure of metals and alloys, semiconductor materials and other opaque objects. The inverted design of the microscope does not limit the geometry of the research object, but only limits its weight to 2 kg. One face of the sample is subjected to special processing and the sample is placed on the table with this surface down. The microscope implements three methods of contrasting in reflected light: bright field, simple polarization and differential interference contrast. The bright field gives a reliable magnified image of the object. Simple polarization removes glare from metal surfaces and highlights polymers and other foreign inclusions. Differential interference contrast colors changes in the height of an object and thus reveals the topography of the sample. The object of study appears in relief. Two independent visualization channels allow for simultaneous connection of a monitor and camera. The microscope is used at enterprises of the metallurgical, mechanical engineering, aerospace, nuclear and energy industries, in research laboratories and technical universities.
