Optical microscope MAGUS Bio 290T

Research grade microscope. Designed for observing transparent and translucent biological samples in the form of smears and sections in transmitted light in a bright field. Installation of optional components will allow the use of dark field, phase contrast, differential interference contrast, luminescence and polarization methods. The motorized nosepiece and condenser automate the process of switching lenses and adjusting the lighting system for each lens. The user is not distracted by settings, his attention is focused on research, and the speed of operations becomes faster. The microscope is suitable for microbiological analysis, medical diagnostics, and solving scientific and research problems. Visual attachment Trinocular imaging head with infinity-rated optics. The user selects the most comfortable angle of inclination of the visual attachment in the range from 0 to 35°. The digital camera is installed in a vertical tube with an imaging channel. The luminous flux is switchable 0/100, 100/0 or 80/20. The basic package includes 10x/25 mm eyepieces with diopter correction and remote pupil for working with glasses. Turret device and lenses A motorized revolver with 6 lenses is directed “from the observer” to the tripod: the user sees the lens that introduced the rays, the space above the table is free. An additional lens can be installed in the free slot of the revolver, which will allow you to obtain another magnification within the magnification range. The lenses are plan achromatic, parfocal height – 60 mm. Above the revolver there is a slot with a plug for installing an analyzer, compensators or differential interference contrast sliders. Remote control of the turret device There are lens selection buttons on the front panel of the microscope. By pressing a button, the turret automatically sets the selected lens to its working position. A separate button is used to switch between the two most commonly used lenses. On both sides of the body, next to the focusing handles, there are buttons for rotating the turret device. Lighting and condenser position are automatically adjusted to match the selected lens. These features improve user comfort, speed and efficiency. They provide an advantage for microphotography because the shooting conditions remain the same for each sample. Maintaining comfortable brightness when changing magnifications Lenses of different magnifications transmit light to different degrees, so each time you change lenses, the brightness of the light must be adjusted. In addition, the brightness increases sharply when switching from a higher magnification lens to a lower magnification lens. A sharp increase in brightness causes eye fatigue. MAGUS Bio 290T is equipped with intelligent light brightness control. The microscope remembers the brightness for each lens that the user has selected and automatically sets this brightness when turning the nosepiece. Intelligent control reduces the time required to adjust brightness. MAGUS Bio 290T increases user comfort and saves time even when work requires frequent magnification changes. Focus The coarse and fine focusing knobs are coaxial and located low. The researcher places his hands on the table and takes a comfortable position for working on the microscope. The coarse focus lock knob helps you quickly adjust the microscope after changing the subject of study. The handle is located on the left side of the microscope on the same axis as the focusing mechanism. The ring on the right side adjusts the rigidity of the coarse focusing stroke. The user adjusts the comfortable firmness for work. Subject table A plate of chemically tempered Gorilla Glass is installed on the table. The plate is durable, resistant to mechanical and chemical influences, and is easy to keep clean. The drug holder is secured with two screws and can be easily removed during manual scanning. The long table control handle ensures user comfort while working: the hand rests on the table without strain. Condenser Ideal condenser settings for each lens: the flip-out lens automatically moves out of the beam path for low-magnification lenses and returns back for lenses with magnifications greater than 10x. One less manual step – for fast and convenient operation. The user can also individually adjust the position of the flip-up condenser lens for specific studies. The condenser is centered and height adjustable. Mounting type: dovetail. The condenser ring adjusts the iris diaphragm. The condenser body has white aperture markings and color markings for the lens magnification, and the ring has an indicator marker. To achieve contrast on each lens, it is recommended to rotate the ring so that the index marker matches the aperture or magnification marking of the lens being used. Light source The transmitted light illuminator contains a 3-watt LED. Color temperature does not change when brightness changes. LED service life is 50,000 hours. Köhler illumination in transmitted light The contrast of the image is regulated by the aperture diaphragm of the condenser, the magnitude of the illuminated field is regulated by the field diaphragm of the collector. The field aperture control is located on the right at the bottom of the body - next to the focus adjustment area. This simplifies the Köhler lighting setup. Adjusting the Köhler illumination improves the quality of the image of the object: the resolution limit is reached on each lens and uniform illumination of the field of view without darkening at the edges. The object of interest is brought into focus and the artifact images are removed.
