Optical microscope MAGUS Bio 250T
The trinocular biological microscope MAGUS Bio 250T with a separate visualization channel for installing a digital camera is an excellent choice for the laboratory if you plan not only direct examination of samples, but also their photo and video recording. The microscope uses infinity-corrected plan achromatic objectives and a halogen transmitted light illuminator to enable the observation of transparent and translucent samples in excellent detail. Studies are carried out in a bright field; it is possible to install additional accessories for working in a dark field, polarized light and using phase contrast. Optical design The visual part of the nozzle is tilted at an angle of 30°, convenient for long-term observations. By rotating the eyepiece tubes, you can set them to a position that optimally matches the user's height. Rotation is 360°. Diopter adjustment is performed on the left tube. The imaging channel for the digital camera is located vertically; the camera is not included in the package. The 5-socket revolving device is turned “away from the observer”, so the lens inserted into the beam path is clearly visible, and free space remains above the object stage. After installing 4 lenses included in the package into the revolver, an additional lens (purchased separately) can be installed in the fifth slot: to obtain more magnifications within the magnification range. In the basic configuration, this range is from 40 to 1000 times; with the help of optional eyepieces, the upper limit can be increased. Lighting system The light source is a 30 W halogen lamp. The warm spectrum of illumination allows for long-term observations without visual strain, and the high brightness of the emitted light ensures obtaining an informative image, regardless of the lens and research method used. The brightness of the backlight is adjustable. AC power is used for power supply. Centering and height adjustment are available for the Abbe condenser. The presence of both diaphragms - aperture (in the condenser) and field - makes it possible to adjust the lighting using the Köhler method. The condenser design also provides for the installation of sliders in a separate slot. The use of a dark-field and phase slider is justified if quick switching between different research methods is required. Mechanics One of the mechanical features of this model is the absence of a retractable rail at the stage. This is a very convenient solution for long-term work with a microscope. It is also worth noting that the drug guide used to move the sample is removable - it can be removed during manual scanning. Having both coarse and fine focusing makes it easier to achieve precise focusing. The coarse focusing stroke is adjustable and there is a stroke lock. Coaxial focus handles are located on both sides of the body and moved downward so that the hands can be freely rested on the table, rather than being held suspended. Accessories The line of accessories designed specifically for the MAGUS Bio 250T microscope includes: lenses, eyepieces, simple polarization device, dark field condensers, phase contrast device, digital cameras, calibration slides.
