Optical microscope MAGUS Bio 240T
MAGUS Bio 240T is a student biological microscope for working in bright field and studying in transmitted light. The model has a number of features: it has a coded revolver that “remembers” the lighting settings for each lens; built-in LCD monitor to display selected settings and a trinocular visual attachment with a separate tube for a digital camera. The visual attachment with 360° rotating tubes is designed for mounting two eyepieces and a digital camera. The luminous flux is divided 100/0 or 0/100. The microscope kit comes with two 10x/20 mm eyepieces. The optics are designed for infinity. To make it easier to work with glasses, the eyepieces are equipped with flat eyecups. They protect the optics from scratches and damage that may occur in the event of an accidental collision. Users with myopia and farsightedness can adjust the sharpness of the image on the tubes. The revolver has 4 sockets for lenses and is in the “away from the user” position - the working lens is located in front of the researcher, the rest are directed in the opposite direction. This position creates free space in front of the user. The revolver is coded - the brightness of the lighting is adjusted for each lens and then recreated when changing the magnification. This is convenient, since lenses transmit different amounts of light, and when you turn the revolver and change the lens, the brightness of the illumination in the eyepiece changes. Because of this, the eyes get tired, and the user spends time adjusting the lighting every time. Smart lighting maintains the selected brightness and automatically switches it when you turn the revolver. Focusing occurs using coaxially located knobs on both sides of the microscope: there is coarse and fine adjustment. In addition, the microscope has a coarse focusing locking handle, which is needed when changing lenses, and a coarse focusing stroke adjustment ring: the user can adjust the rigidity of the stroke to suit themselves. All handles are located at a convenient height: the user manipulates them with his hands on the table and conducts research in a comfortable position. The object stage does not have a retractable rack along the X axis. The specimen is moved using a belt drive mechanism, the movements occur smoothly. The drug holder is fixed with two fasteners and can be easily dismantled if necessary. An Abbe condenser is installed under the table. It is fixed in height and centered along the optical axis at the factory, so you don't have to worry about accidentally moving it out of place. Colored marks are applied to the condenser ring: using them, using the condenser handle, you can adjust the aperture diaphragm to suit the lens with a certain magnification and obtain a contrast image. The condenser has a numerical aperture of 1.25. To illuminate the drug, the MAGUS Bio 240T model uses a 3-Watt LED. You can select the desired color temperature from 3000 K to 7000 K. Temperature settings are easily changed. The LED is designed for 50,000 hours of operation. You can view all selected settings on the built-in screen: it displays the brightness and color temperature of the illuminator, lens magnification, and operating mode. Lighting settings, as well as operating modes, are set using two knobs. The microscope is light in weight, small in size and has a functional design. It can be carried and moved by the handles, which are a tripod device. The wires and network adapter are hidden on the back wall of the microscope.
