Optical microscope MAGUS Bio 240B

The MAGUS Bio 240B microscope is intended for student research and allows you to study biological samples using the bright field method in transmitted light. The microscope has several useful features that set it apart from other models. The first of them is a coded revolver with individual lighting parameters for each lens (there are 4 in total). The next feature is the presence of an LCD screen, which displays the current operating parameters, and you can also adjust the lighting settings. And finally, the microscope has a functional, optimized design: all cords and power supplies are hidden on the back wall of the case, and the device can be moved or carried using the side panels, which are handles. Model MAGUS Bio 240B is a binocular microscope with infinity tubes. Each of the tubes can be rotated around its axis by 360 degrees, and the eye relief is adjusted to suit the user’s height. The microscope is equipped with a diopter adjustment system on each of the tubes: the image is focused autonomously under each eye, this is important for users with different visual acuity. To record studies and display images on the screen, you can install a digital camera in the microscope instead of any of the eyepieces. The microscope set includes 2 eyepieces 10x/20 mm and eyecups for users with glasses. The revolver for mounting 4 lenses is equipped with an intelligent lighting control system. Each lens requires a different intensity of light, depending on its own magnification. Smart lighting allows you to set the desired brightness for each lens once, and then when you rotate the revolver, it will automatically switch to the selected settings. Lighting is provided by an LED; its brightness, as well as color temperature in the range of 3000–7000 K, can be set using the LCD display and knobs on the body. The LED is designed to last for 50,000 hours. The revolver itself is “turned away” from the observer: the working lens is located directly in front of the researcher. This arrangement gives a lot of work space in front of the user. The object table is devoid of a gear rack. The drug is moved using a belt drive. The drug holder is fixed with two screws and can be easily dismantled if necessary. Focusing occurs using coaxially located coarse and fine adjustment knobs. The handles are located at the bottom of the body; for adjustment, the user's hands lie on the table and the body is in a comfortable position. On the left is the coarse focus lock knob. With its help, you can quickly adjust the focus after changing lenses. On the right is a ring that sets the rigidity of the coarse focusing stroke. Since the microscope is intended for students, the Abbe condenser is fixed at the desired height in the factory. It cannot be accidentally moved from the correct position. The condenser has a numerical aperture of 1.25. The condenser body has colored marks indicating the magnification of the lenses: to adjust for a specific lens, the handle must be moved until it is set to the desired mark. The correct position of the condenser will make the image contrast. A special feature of this microscope is a liquid crystal screen, which displays the magnification of the selected lens, color temperature, brightness and operating mode of the microscope. The user sets lighting parameters in accordance with the tasks being solved. Separately, it is worth noting the design of the microscope body. The wires and adapter are hidden on the back wall of the case, and you can move or carry the microscope using the sides, which are like handles. Such a device is not only beautiful, but also safe to use and store.
