Optical microscope MAGUS Bio 230T
The biological microscope MAGUS Bio 230T is a trinocular model with achromatic optics and halogen illumination. Designed for studying biological sections and smears using the bright field method. Suitable for both routine laboratory work and scientific research. With additional accessories, you can use more research methods: dark-field, phase contrast, polarization. Optical design The advantage of the trinocular attachment is that it has a separate visual channel for mounting a digital camera. It is positioned vertically, so the camera is more stable. The camera is not included and can be purchased separately. The eyepiece tubes can be rotated 360° to adjust the exit pupil height to suit different heights. There is a diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece. The 5-socket revolving device is turned “away from the observer”, so the space above the table is free, and the lens inserted into the beam path is clearly visible. After installing the supplied lenses, one slot remains free, it is used to install an optional lens. The optics are adjusted to infinity and provide magnification from 40 to 1000 times out of the box. Additional eyepieces increase the upper magnification limit to 1500, 1600 and even 2000 times. Lighting system Observations are carried out in transmitted light, the illumination source is a 30-watt halogen lamp. Its power is sufficient to obtain a bright and contrasting image on any lens, not only in bright field, but also in phase contrast and dark field. Warm-spectrum light tires the eyes less, and, therefore, contributes to more productive work over a long period of time. Fine-tuning of illumination is performed using the condenser aperture diaphragm and field diaphragm. Adjusting the Köhler lighting significantly increases the brightness and readability of the image. The Abbe condenser, the position of which can be adjusted in two planes (vertical/horizontal), has a slot for installing a slider: dark-field or phase to choose from. Using the slider, switching between observation methods is faster and more convenient. Mechanics The object table without a sliding rail is convenient for work. The movement of the drug under the lens occurs smoothly. The drug driver can be removed if necessary. The focus can be adjusted coarsely or finely, there is a speed adjustment and a lock for coarse focusing. The adjustment knobs are located on both sides of the housing coaxially. Since they are located close to the base of the microscope, your hands do not need to be suspended while working - you can freely rest them on the table. The focusing progress is smooth and adjustment is effortless. Accessories Fully compatible eyepieces, objectives, dark-field condensers, simple polarization and phase contrast devices, and digital cameras have been developed for the MAGUS Bio 230T microscope. With their help, you can maximize the capabilities of the microscope.
