Levenhuk 890B optical microscope, binocular
Levenhuk 890B is a biological microscope with a binocular attachment and a halogen light source. Designed for routine and research work in the laboratory, it provides magnification ranging from 40x to 2000x, producing highly readable and clear images without noticeable visual artifacts. The microscope is used in veterinary medicine, epidemiology and other fields. In addition, this model can be used for educational purposes. The ergonomic 30-degree tilt of the viewing head makes working with the microscope less tiring, and the ability to study a sample with both eyes at once reduces eye strain. It’s convenient that the eyepieces are removable - this makes it easier to choose the most appropriate magnification depending on the task at hand. Moreover, the package includes not one pair of eyepieces, but two - one brings you 10 times closer, the second - 20 times. Another function aimed at increasing ease of use is the ability to adjust the interpupillary distance. The adjustment range is standard. Up to four lenses can be installed in the revolving device at the same time; the complete basic kit includes lenses with magnifications of 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x. All lenses are plan achromatic, that is, they effectively smooth out distortions and form a high-definition image. The 40x and 100x lenses have front lens protection, the 100x lens can be used to work using the oil immersion method. Focusing of the optics is performed using adjustment knobs located on both sides of the tripod: both coarse and fine focus adjustments are provided. The mechanism is coaxial - the handles are located on the same axis. The lighting system is located in the lower part, under the object stage. The table itself allows for movement along two axes and is equipped with a drug guide. Halogen lighting is warm in color temperature, comfortable for vision, with a minimum of eye-straining flicker. The brightness is adjustable, and the backlight is powered by AC power. You can also use a mirror as a backlight in cases where natural lighting is required. The microscope is equipped with a classic Abbe condenser with an aperture of 1.25 and a premium iris diaphragm. The lighting can be adjusted using the Köhler method and the ability to use filters is implemented - three filters of different colors are included in the package.
