A disk with diaphragms is installed between the mirror and the microslide, which regulates the amount of light, which allows you to select optimal lighting conditions for each object. Focusing is accomplished by moving the microscope tube up or down, and the large power reserve of the focusing mechanism in most cases makes it possible to compensate for the observer's visual defects. The microscope body does not contain plastic parts, it is made entirely of metal and has a massive base that prevents the device from accidentally tipping over.
